The Influential Leader
The Influential Leader has been created
from our experience of working with around 2,000 managers over the last
five years. The programme is designed to offer a development opportunity
for those who have a heightened awareness of themselves and who may
have completed the Front Line Manager
programme or something similar.
Delegates are likely to hold responsibility in
positions where management demands on them are significant and where
they are required to demonstrate a higher level of personal skills and
decision-making abilities.
The modules are configured in five blocks of
two days each, with the following titles:

Our Facilitators
The Influential Leader facilitators are Thom
Dennis and Christina Hosking.
THOM DENNIS
Thom Dennis is an experienced educator, speaker
and consultant who for many years was a Royal Marines officer. During
his service he spent time on operations and had two tours of duty training
Civil Servants, Naval and Marine officers in leadership and stress management.
He has 10 years’ experience coaching senior executives through personal
and organizational change and facilitating groups of executives to operate
as dynamic teams. He works with managing directors and CEOs to develop
themselves and their businesses and brings healing to people and situations
through the use of energy techniques.
He has developed a process for people and organisations
to examine their current situation in a detailed and systematic way,
the product being a strongly founded strategy plan. This has been used
successfully with a number of different companies.
He holds an MSc in Change Agent Skills and Strategies
with the Human Potential Research Group at Surrey University and is
a member of the International Association of Facilitators and the Guild
of Complementary Practitioners. He also holds the British Psychological
Society’s Certificate of Competence in Occupational Testing.
Thom’s ability to apply lateral thinking throughout
the training process enables clients to take a fresh look at themselves
and their perception of the roles they are required to play. He is a
source of inspiration in guiding clients to a better understanding of
the relationship between self, team and organisational needs. His self-awareness,
flexibility, spontaneity and depth of vision all combine to provide
